Does anyone else think that
2018 just walked on in here without being invited? I mean I was not nearly as prepared to celebrate or do any of the things I normally do for a
New Year. It literally just waltzed on in here and I was like, 'oh wait it happened!' I barely had time to think about my
goals for this year. And everyone was posting on Instagram about them. They even posted their highlights from the 2017 year. I feel like I am late to the game this year. But you know what I am okay with that. I know that I spent time thinking about my
goals. I also realized that sometimes you can wait to make those lists or plans, because you see other people's ideas and you think that is a great idea for me. Some of my goals for 2018 include things for my business and some of my goals include things like cooking one day a week. What type of goals did you make for the
New Year?
Here is a photo of the snow day we had in Alabama in December.

I'm a huge believer in goal setting! And what better time than the new year? My 2018 focus is all about getting healthy- not just 'lose weight' or 'eat better', but really pay attention to the good and the bad going in body. I'm also getting rid of all chemicals in my house in an effort to live simpler and healthier! Best of luck with your goals!
ReplyDeleteThat is an awesome goal! I hope you keep up with it. I am trying to stay away from all those processed chemicals as well.
DeleteGoals should always be based on your own accomplishments and where you want to see yourself going. Setting up a list or taking a look back and how far you've come is so good to do in January. Or really at anytime!
ReplyDeleteThat is great advice Elizabeth about setting goals based on your own accomplishments. I am going to remember that from now on. Thank you!
DeleteYou're never too late to think about your goals for the year! I think that your 2018 goals are awesome, and I hope you can achieve them all!
ReplyDeleteSo true! It really did just come out of nowhere this year. Why is that?! Let's see, my goal for 2018 is to live in the moment and to work smarter, not harder!
ReplyDeleteMy goals for 2018 are to be more intentional with both business and personal. Working on both! Personal is always harder for me.
ReplyDeleteI'm terrible about making goals! I need to get on it. Thanks for the motivation.
ReplyDeleteThe new year always does that to me! My main goal this year is STRUCTURE, I want to try and have some sort of routine and system for my business.
ReplyDeleteOh I am the worst at making goals haha. But my goal for 2018 is to say yes more often and really live in the moment.
ReplyDeleteWow, my goals this year? I would say I would like to travel even more for my blog! Also, continuing finding balance in life with time and work!
ReplyDeleteI love to travel. I hope I can travel some more with all the things I have to do this year.
DeleteYou are not alone. I feel like this New Year came out of nowhere. Goal setting is an ongoing thing for me. My #1 goal is to do less and in doing so, actually do more. Quit trying to do ALL the things for ALL the people ALL the time. So far so good and I don't feel guilty saying, "No."
ReplyDeleteThat is a great goal and I like it. I am glad I am not alone in thinking New Year came out of nowhere.
DeleteHey girl! Don't worry about not setting your goals by January 1... there is nothing special about January 1. I'm just thinking about my goals for the year. Have you heard of Powersheets? They are basically a guideline for goal setting. They help 120%!
ReplyDeleteI have never heard of Powersheets. I am going to have to look that up. Thank you for your advice.
DeleteOur goals are to be healthier and more fit this year. We also want more development of our blog. Good luck with your goals.
ReplyDeleteYou're never too late to set goals. Everyone does for the New Year, but really we get a chance every single new day.
ReplyDeleteThe good news is hat it is never too late to start new goals! I often feel the same way but I have made it a habit to focus on goals several times a year and not just the new year! I’m wishing the best for you in 2018!!!
ReplyDeleteGoal setting has become so important to me! Ive learned how much more I accomplish when I write out goals and try to attain them!
